Our pastor has been doing a sermon series entitled We Are Family. Last Sunday we celebrated the children. What this meant was all of us adults got to see what happens during kids church as the kids church "invaded big people's church." We have an amazing kids ministry. Our children's pastor is an amazing women, friend, pastor, women's leader, mom, and grandmom. She conducted the sermon on Sunday. She taught it just as she would teach it to the kids. Her ministry team who are awesome and very dedicated every Sunday to making kids church the best it can be, also conducted the songs, games, and skits just as they do in kids church. Evan is part of the kids' praise team, so they lead everybody in the music worship that morning by performing dances to songs that they practiced for many weeks. He had so much fun, and the entire service was a lot of fun. Everybody did wonderful and I really think all of the big people were blessed by the kids, I know I was.

| Lauren got to participate in one of the games with Roger. Her job was to catch the tortillas on a plate that he had to flip to her using a swim flipper. They won! |

| Lining up in order of their matching colors. There are a total of 10 kids so they paired up and chose what colors they would like to wear. Evan and his friend chose orange and blue. However, he did not want to wear that bright blue color for his jeans, so he is wearing a dark blue. I don't blame him one bit--he felt it was too girlie. |
