Yesterday and Today

Last Friday was the last day of school for our neighbor friend who attends the local public school. He came down today to ask the kids to go fishing today. It seems hot dogs is the bait of choice. They caught 4 catfish (and released them). The neighbor has a dock they fished from for a little bit, then they came down to our backyard to fish for about an hour. It was so nice just seeing the 3 of them sitting and chatting for about an hour and enjoying the calm, cool afternoon.

I love seeing Lauren's pink rain boots amongst all of the "boy" sport of fishing. She really does like to fish.

Yesterday I took the following pics of school being done. Evan was lounging on the couch with his ear buds in working on his computer skills lesson. His eyes are closed but he was not sleeping LOL! Just happened to snap the pic with his eyes closed. Lauren was outside enjoying the beautiful morning weather reading her book and doing some writing.
