Busyness

Okay, autumn is coming and that means all kinds of activities starting up since summer break has come to an end. I actually like to keep busy. Here is our schedule: Sunday, church and twice a month small group gatherings in the evenings. Mondays are homeschool co-op, soccer practice for Daughter and Son, as well as scouts for Son. Tuesdays are dance for Daughter. Wednesdays are church night. Thursdays are another night of soccer practice for Son. Fridays are free, and Saturdays are soccer games. I'm sure there are people thinking that is just too much activity for a family, and are wondering when do we ever get family time at home. Since we homeschool, we are home all of the time as a family. My children aren't at a school from 9:00-4:00 and then rushing home to do homework, eat, and then running out to an activity. Because of this, having 6 days of the week busy with activities works out just fine for us. This may look like a lot of activities, but it's only 3 extra curricular activities each--that is our limit for our kids. This is what works for our family and I love it!
