Work and Rest
Had a pretty productive day working around the house. Isn't it a great feeling when everything is clean and organized? With so many distractions now-a-days it's easy to let things go and just be lazy sitting in front of a tv, playing video games, or spending too much time on the computer. I wonder what the lives of people 100 years ago were like. Or even people now who live without tv and computers. I think most people feel joy is found in things, so what things made people joyful back then, or now if they don't have many things? There definitely is joy in knowing that you worked hard to accomplish things that have to be done, even though the work part is not necessarily joyful. However, there definitely is joy in having those lazy days sometimes, too. I think when you balance work and rest, it's so much easier to be joyful in everything. Even God took a break and rested from doing His work of creating everything.
